GG Buddy is a clean player directory for finding PC gaming teammates.
No swiping, no in-app chat — you browse players, and connect on the
platform you already use.
Supported games: Counter-Strike 2, Age of Empires II, and
League of Legends.
1. Create an account — with your email address, or with Sign in with
Apple.
2. Complete your profile — display name, region, the languages you can
communicate in, and at least one contact handle (Steam, Telegram, Discord
or LINE).
3. Add your games — your rank, role/playstyle, preferred maps or
civilisations, and when you usually play.
4. Browse Discover — players are ranked by how well they match you on
rank, game mode, play times, region, language and playstyle. Recently
active players rank higher.
5. Connect — open a player's profile and use the contact handle they
listed.
GG Buddy has no built-in chat. A contact handle is the only way another
player can reach you. Only enter handles you're happy to share with other
players.
Any signed-in GG Buddy user, as long as "Appear in search" is on. Your
email address is never shown.
Me → Visibility → Appear in search, and turn it off. You stay signed in
and keep your data, but you stop appearing in other players' searches.
Me → Language — choose 中文 or English. This changes the app's interface
only; it is separate from the communication languages on your profile,
which tell other players which languages you can play in.
Me → Appearance — Auto, Light or Dark.
Make sure you're signed in to iCloud on your device (**Settings → [your
name]**). If you previously used Apple's "Hide My Email", your account is
tied to that private relay address — signing in with Apple again will
restore it. Contact us if you're still stuck.
Check your spam folder. If it hasn't arrived after a few minutes, email us
and we'll help.
GG Buddy is new and the community is still growing. Try widening your
filters (rank range, region or language) in Discover.
AoE IV is not currently active in the app. If you already had an AoE IV
profile, your data is preserved — it just isn't shown while the game is
inactive.
If someone breaks the rules — harassment, offensive content, scams,
impersonation, or anything that makes the community unsafe:
We review every report within 24 hours and may warn or remove accounts.
You can also email samleecf01@icloud.com with the player's handle and
what happened.
We have zero tolerance for abusive or objectionable content and for
users who behave abusively toward others.
Me → Edit (pencil icon, top right).
Me — the Sign out button at the bottom of the screen.
Me → Delete account. You'll be asked to type DELETE to confirm.
This is permanent and immediate. It removes your profile, game
profiles, saved players and blocks. Reports you filed about other players
are kept for safety purposes, but are no longer linked to you.
If you can't get into the app, email samleecf01@icloud.com and we'll
delete your account for you.
